Great Minds Grow Here!
Hands-on learning books, tools & resources that make practice feel like play, for little learners from preschool through elementary school.
Limitless Learning, Infinite Possibilities.
Every kid is more than a grade.
More Than a Kid started in 2016 as a community literacy program. I tutored young readers, coached early learners, and helped kids from preschool through high school write and publish books of their very own.
The greater-than sign in our name is a promise. Your child is more than a test score, more than a label, and capable of so much more than the world expects.
Now we're back with hands-on learning books you can use at home, in your homeschool, or in the classroom.
Learning tools kids actually want to use
Every learning tool is designed by a literacy coach and published children's book author, so the fun always has a purpose.
-
Hands-on, not just worksheets
Kids touch, trace, and play their way through each skill, so practice feels like a game.
-
Made to meet kids where they are
Every learning tool builds one skill at a time, so little learners feel proud of every page.
-
Put together by hand
Every learning tool is printed and assembled by hand in small batches, with care on every page.

Hi, I'm Brittany!
I'm a published children's book author, literacy coach, and homeschooling mom. Since 2016, I've helped kids learn to read, write, and even become published authors themselves.
Today I pour that same heart into every learning book, tool and resource I make. Each one is built to meet kids where they are, grow real skills, and remind them they're capable of more than they think.
